    Part of doing the right thing is helping the planet as much as possible - to that end, we use only recycled materials to make our packaging. We even go the extra mile to use a recyclable paper core for our rolls instead of plastic.

    We manufacture our bags in China at a facility responsibly managed that provides good working conditions, fair wages, and medical plans.

  • Why is picking up poop important?
    Our ecosystem just isn’t designed to handle the amount of dog waste that is generated by our pet population. In fact, the EPA classifies it as an environmental pollutant. Just one gram of dog poop can contain over 23 million bacteria.
  • Are your bags biodegradable?
    Our EARTH FRIENDLY brand bags are made with EPI’s degradable additive technology, making them 100% degradable, What is EPI? The principal chemical additives sold by EPI are proprietary oxo-biodegradable plastic additives, Totally Degradable Plastic Additives (TDPA®). EPI's technology has been designed to control and manage the lifetime of products made from the most common plastics used by modern society. The bags are also super strong as well as being environmentally friendly, meaning you can avoid any nasty accidents! As an alternative to our green-colored bags, we offer our vegetable based bags, These bags are vegetable starch-based and can be disposed of in a municipal compost environment where pet waste is accepted. ​
  • How come your packaging doesn't mention anything about biodegradable?
    Due to the updated U.S. Federal Trade Commission regulations, as applied to this industry, they cannot meet the regulatory definition of biodegradable as they cannot be proven to break down within a regulated time frame in every type of landfill environment.
  • What does "EPI additive" mean?"
    Epi is a company that develops the TDPA (totally degradable plastic additive) technology used in our bags. This allows bags to break down faster and produces no harmful residue. Visit their website to learn more at
  • How long can I keep your bags for?
    We recommend keeping our bags that contain EPI addative for no more than 26 months, and storing them in a dry, cool area. We recommend keeping our vegetable based bags for no more than 18 months while also storing them in a dry, cool area.
  • Do your bags contain latex?
    No. There is no latex in our bags or packaging.
  • Can I use your bags to scoop cat litter?
    Absolutely! Our larger size bags are probably the easiest to use for this purpose.
  • How long do the earth friendly bags take to decompose?
    The time it takes for our degradable bags to decompose can vary depending on where there are disposed of. With standard bags taking as much as thousands of years to degrade you can guarantee that our bags will be long gone by then! Our bags tested to break down in approximately 18-24 months in a bioreactor landfill.
  • Are the inner tubes on the earth friendly bags recyclable?
    Yes! Even the cardboard rolls we wrap our bags around are recyclable, as well as our packaging, meaning that nothing has to go to landfill.
  • What is the best way to open the bags?
    It is always best to pinch the top of the bag to help separate the sides. However, you can always try purchasing our bags with handles to make it more convenient for you.

  • What is the best way to dispose of my waste bags? can I flush my bags?
    All bags should be disposed by throwing away in trash cans or bins. Do not flush bags. (You should never leave your waste bags outside without disposing, this can cause harm to our environment especially waste bags containing poop in them)
